The days are warm, the evenings are long, and Céilí by the Lee is as regular as the tide. Join us on Monday evenings in Crane Lane at 19:30, and dip your toes in the world of traditional Irish dancing! We start the evening by patiently and carefully covering the basic steps. Then, with everyone ready, we'll move on the group dances, increasing the challenge as competency grows! Beginners are welcome, and no partner is required. Different dances and faces make each week unique!
It's hard to be all things to all people, but we do our level best! This is the place to:
- Meet new people in Cork
- Learn to dance
- Do some enjoyable exercise
- Experience traditional Irish culture
- Get out of the blistering sunshine for a while (!)
Our venue is the inimitable Crane Lane Theatre, home to Cork's finest dance floor, with a wide range of beverages to refresh the thirsty dancer.
