„Organic Electro“, so beschreibt die Berliner Band Cats & Breakkies ihre Musik: ein bunter Strom verschiedenster Musikstile ‒ zusammengeführt in purer elektronischer Tanzmusik ‒ realisiert im pulsierenden Sound der Berliner Clubszene.
Die fünf Musiker Raphael Kaletta drums/marimba, Bastian Kaletta bass, Johannes Gottschick nord/synth, Johannes Steidle rhodes/effects, Benedikt Schnitzler guitar schaffen mit ihren Instrumenten ein Klangspektrum in der Welt der Clubmusik wie es bisher nicht existierte. Die tragenden Säulen sind Techno, House und Electro, ummauert werden sie von pikanten Elementen aus dem Jazz und der Weltmusik, was das außerordentliche Kolorit und den einzigartigen Klang der Band erst geltend machen.
Gegründet hat sich das Quintett Anfang 2013 und ist seitdem stets auf der Suche nach Neuem, gewollt Grenzen zu überwinden und Konventionen zu sprengen.
Dynamisch, heißblütig, jedoch charakterfest und sich treu bleibend, machen Cats & Breakkies ihrem Ruf in der Berliner Clubszene alle Ehre.
