Sure, this election may look bad. But that’s just if you look at the content or long term consequences of what Trump has done to the political discourse and decorum in the US.
The reality is that it’s likely they will elect an extremely capable president that is very experienced and will likely improve things over her time in office. Good!
To the people who have suggested that Trump has been good for comedy, Jokes Please! rejects that. His racist, mysoginistic, willfully ignorant and arrogant message has stoked so much hatred and anger and there aren’t a lot of HATE laughs in the comedy we support. But soon we wont be so burdened by the weight and danger of a possible Trump presidency that comedians can go back to focusing on what's funny about things like a moldy pumpkin on a porch (most of it).
