Welcome to a very special Modern night in Orlando!!
On Saturday June 20th, from 10pm til 1am, the Swing Knights will be hosting a one of a kind modern swing dance, with the fantastic theme of OLD vs NEW. This dance will be a mashup of very groovy vintage and modern songs, with a main focus on Modern and Vintage SWING.
This dance's set list will showcase multiple styles of modern swing. We'll be headed back to the future featuring modern swing with a vintage feel and getting a blast from the past playing vintage songs with a modern touch! We will also be mixing in some more underground grooves like Swing-Pop, Swing-Hop, and teasing the tingling sensation that is Electro-Swing.
We will also be celebrating former President Jen Prichard and former Public Relations officer Kyle Killough's Birthdays! We'll be having a special jam for them celebrating their amazing years being officers of the Swing Knights.
The dance will be at Danzforce Extreme, off of Lake Underhill in the plaza directly west of the huge, red Harley-Davidson Building. The address is 11602 Lake Underhill Rd, Suite 126, Orlando, Florida 32825.
Dance entry will be a standard $5 cover.
