We are ready to welcome COSPLAY back to THE COURT HOTEL!

If you don’t know what Cosplay is yet, let us help you out…

‘Cosplay’ short for ‘Costume play’ is where you get to dress as fictional characters.
Popular characters are often from film, books, video games especially from Japanese Anime and Magna Genres.
Cosplaying is a "HOBBY". Much like a model builder builds models, a person modifies their car, a gamer plays games, a sports fan watches sports. A cosplayer, cosplays (makes costumes).

This is a 18+ event and ID will be required.

We will also have our gaming center in place with all your favourite games like Donkey Kong, Super Mario and Mortal Kombat.

Reasons why cosplay is awesome:
1.) To take pride in one’s own creation
2.) To wear something out of the ordinary (societies restrictions on what is allowable to be worn every day can be bland)
3.) To show support and/or interest in an anime/manga/videogame
4.) Self-expression; often the character that is chosen mirrors the actual person wearing the cosplay outfit. The person's personality is like the character Not the other way around (the person wants to be the character).
5.) To have fun

We will have a professional photographer on the night with a backdrop to snap memorable pic of as your favourite character as well as a ‘Best Dressed’ competition with prizes from Yobe Cosplay, The Court Hotel and RedBull.

Veronica Jean Jones, Scarlet Adams, and Harvest Dubois will be preforming dazzling numbers throughout the night along with banging tunes from all our favourite resident DJ’s, Timbee, Sir Clancelot and WasteLand (DJ/Producer)

Get ready for a wild night of fantasy dress up with a twist and we will see you here at The Court Hotel from 8pm
