Sat 18 April
Thistle Hotel, Middlesbrough
We’re back with another fantastic Big Mouth Supper Club – featuring a sensational two course supper and an even more sensational line up!
Doors open at 6.30pm so customers can tuck into either Cumberland Sausage with mashed potato & onion gravy or Chargrilled Mediterranean vegetables, egg tagliatelle, pesto cream and Rocket leaves (v) followed by fruit crumble and custard.
And as for the line-up – it’s even more mouthwatering than the menu! Justin Moorhouse needs no introduction at all. Since appearing in Phoenix Nights as Young Kenny (he joined the cast at the recent sell out Manchester Arena Live Reunion for Comic Relief), his career has gone from strength to strength.
A string of successful tours, appearances on everything from Michael McIntyre to Live at the Apollo, acting parts in Coronation Street and Ken Loach’s film Looking for Eric and his own BBC Radio 4 sitcom Everyone Quite Likes Justin. He’s also a familiar voice on talkSPORT and Radio 4s New Quiz, he won Celebrity Mastermind with his chosen subject Les Dawson and is currently Champion of Champions on Fighting Talk (5 Live).
Co-headliner on this very special night is the amazing Jonny Awsum. A comedic whirlwind, he’s risen from a fresh faced newbie to a highly sought after headline act who has played around the world. ‘As close to a sure-fire crowd pleaser as you can get’ Chortle.
Equally at home in front of a camera, Jonny has recently appeared on the nation’s TV screens, presenting for Sky Sports, is a familiar face from the current Experian adverts, and features in the Cravendale ‘Cats with Thumbs’ campaign, which has been viewed over a million times on YouTube.
Our MC this evening is the fantastic Mike Wilkinson and our act in the middle is up and coming Freddy Quinne.
Over 18s only. Not for the easily offended/ line ups may change.
