One of Australia's most loved bands, The Black Sorrows, is heading to town to perform in a free show at Caboolture Sports Club on Friday 11th November.
Icons of Australian music, The Black Sorrows have sold more than one million albums and are renowned for their classic singles Chained to the Wheel, Harley & Rose, Never Let Me Go and Hold On to Me.
Over the past two decades, The Black Sorrows have toured Australia more times than anyone can remember, have played to sell out shows across Europe, won the ARIA for ‘Best Band’ and sold more than a million albums world-wide.
Although the band has a constantly changing line up, with the legendary Joe Camilleri at the helm, they have produced an incredible back catalogue of great Australian songs.
In the mid-1980s following the success of his first band, Jo Jo Zep and The Falcons, Joe Camilleri gathered together a group of musician friends and dubbed them The Black Sorrows.
The band began playing for the fun of it, recording independent albums and selling them out of the boot of the car.
Joe was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame in 2007 and in 2014 he celebrated 50 years in Australian music.
Show includes support and DJ to follow. No bookings taken.
