Swedish singer-songwriter and guitarist José González is a deep, artful thinker whose approach to song writing evokes the greats of the 60s and 70s, a creator of music that resounds with beauty.
Starting his mainstage Australian tour in Canberra, Jose Gonzalez will take the Canberra Theatre stage on Thursday 29th March 2018.
Having ensured his position as one of the most important artists of his generation with his first two albums Veneer and In Our Nature, and his contribution to the The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty soundtrack, José released his latest album, Vestiges & Claws, in 2015. This album consists of years’ worth of musical sketches and is as an outstanding addition to an already impressive body of work.
Jose is a musician’s musician, much loved for his unique and quietly visceral power. This intimate solo show, which will comprise of a mix of his favourites and a selection from his latest album, promises to be the perfect musical experience.
