There's a grand stretch in the evenings, and Céilí by the Lee is now starting in daylight! Join us in Crane Lane on Monday at 19:30 for an evening of traditional Irish dancing. The format of the evening is timeless and tireless: at the beginning, we'll cover the basic steps, so everybody is comfortable before we move on. Then we'll use those basic steps as the ingredients in an amazing cake* of dancing! (*metaphor: not an actual cake)
Highly recommended as a sampler of traditional Irish culture, as a way to make new friends in Cork, as an enjoyable way to exercise and as an excuse to get out of the house on a Monday evening! Beginners are always welcome, a partner is never required.
Our venue is Cork's finest, the Crane Lane Theatre, with a huge dancefloor, and a range of drinks to match!
