Justin “3LAU” is a progressive house producer and DJ by night; college junior by day. Currently 21 years old, 3LAU balances a full course load at Washington University in St. Louis with a nationwide tour schedule and hours devoted to producing the bootlegs and remixes that have charted in the overall top 10 on both Beatport and Hype Machine. Combining top-40 acapellas with instrumental bangers, 3LAU kickstarted his career by producing signature mixes that transcend the traditional definition of a bootleg, seamlessly weaving tracks that breed dance floor filth. Now, the next phase begins, as 3LAU prepares to release his next original track and embark on a headlining tour in the fall. With a background in piano, guitar, and drums, 3LAU first produced indie/folk, but a trip to Sweden in the summer of 2011 opened his eyes to the world of house music. Since starting in EDM just over a year ago, 3LAU has received critical acclaim from top producers Hardwell, R3hab, Bob Sinclar, Robbie Rivera, Porter Robinson and Tristan Garner.
