She is participating in the MISS UNIVERSE® CANADA 2015 pageant taking place on May 21 & 23, 2015 in Toronto, Ontario. The MISS UNIVERSE® CANADA pageant has the exclusive rights to send one Canadian representative to compete internationally in the MISS UNIVERSE® pageant.

Operation Smile is a non profit organization that was founded by Dr. Bill Magee, who travelled to the Philippines and donated his time and services to fix children who were born with cleft lip and cleft palette.

Operation Smile provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children around the globe.

Its costs $240 to fix one child's cleft lip or palate. The doctors and nurses go on missions to over 50 countries around the world. They volunteer all of their time and services in order to provide these surgeries.
