We're excited to announce that local indie pop 4 piece, Safari Gold will be returning to Clwb with supports from equally as exciting (and local) Paint Happy and The People The Poet (who will play an acoustic set).
Describing their sound as “angular pop laced with guitars and keyboards”, their lyrics – much like their music – range from the more upbeat right down to the darker themes. Safari Gold succeeds in producing varying textures throughout the track, keeping the listener interested by weaving seamlessly between the electronic and indie elements.
“Howl” clearly demonstrates the band’s inherent talent for songwriting; fusing catchy melodies with choppy percussion and pulsing synth bass, creating a truly infectious sound that will leave you wanting more. Safari Gold’s unique and refreshing sound is an amalgamation of a number of influences, ranging from Foals to Justice making for a captivating listen.
