After emerging from a silent meditation, Danny Ross had thoroughly reflected on the dynamics between people. “We Are Songs” is the first single, available now from the forthcoming album Aquamarine and is at its heart a song about the metamorphosis of a relationship.

With beginnings in Spanish guitar before moving to Jazz in high school, Danny Ross has a rich, chameleonic musical past including an unlikely collaboration with childhood friend and Berlin based electronic producer The Immigrant, (aka Jon Henderson). Recorded in a shed in the Southern Highlands of NSW, their first single “Through the wire” was released by Sydney electronic label OneLove and was immediately added to Triple J’s “Hit List”, receiving solid airplay. The unique combination of dark, euro-electro and lucid, folk/blues vocals proved to capture a wide audience.
