About the Fox Cabaret
Located in the heart of Mt. Pleasant, The Fox Cabaret is a nightclub and performance space which provides a platform for the best of independent culture Vancouver. An almost 40-year-neighborhood fixture, the Fox has been home to a cult cinema, an indian movie house and was the last 35mm adult theatre in North America. Relaunched in 2013 by the Arrival Agency, the Fox has been reborn as a cultural space with a commitment to high quality, music, art, performance, entertainment and fun.

About the Projection Room

Located upstairs in the former cinema's projection booth, the new cocktail and snack bar completes the cycle to launch The Fox Cabaret as a multi-room venue in Mount Pleasant. Operating as both a venue and a neighbourhood bar, the Fox will act as a cultural space for the best independent music, art, performance, and entertainment.

Designed by Scott Cohen and created in collaboration with Maya Beaudry, Graham Landin, Olivia Carmen Meek, and Marie-Helene Tessier, the space is unlike any other room in the city. Prepare yourself for leopard print walls (an homage to Dr and Lady Brute) , gradients, a sparkly bar, pink mirrored tables, and beautiful pendant lights designed by Omer Arbel for Bocci.

Open 7 days a week (eventually), early evenings will function as a casual neighbourhood spot to find playful, inviting new cocktails (and all the classics), a great selection of beer, and an assortment of bar snacks. Late nights and weekends will play host to DJs and parties in conjunction with programming downstairs or as stand alone events.
