Lauantaina 21.02 juhlitaan ESSENCE CLUB FESTIVALEJA kun stagella nähdään todella merkittävä kattaus kotimaisia deejiitä sekä illan pääesintyjänä Turkista, Ministry Of Soundin ja Armada -labelin alla työskentelevä SEZER UYSAL!

Essence tarjoilee visuaalisesti ja musiikillisesti kovimpia kotimaisia ja ulkolaisia esiintyjiä ja on takuulla kovin Jyväskyläläinen klubi- ja tanssiitapahtuma.

Klubin residenttinä toimii Giggling Marlinin ikioma Ali Darian jolla on kokemusta dekkien takaa yli 25 vuoden ajalta. Ali on kiertänyt kovimmat kotimaiset kerhot, sekä ibizaa myöten ulkomaita.

SEZER UYSAL (TUR)

Artists across the creative realm frequently lament the difficulty of putting thoughts onto paper. In electronic dance music, it’s the producers who battle the hardships of making the creativity of mind materialize on a computer screen.For Sezer Uysal, finding the right touch is more instinctual than voluntary.
Sezer Uysal was born and raised in Bursa, Turkey. His love affair with music started at age 17 when he started to listen to electronic music.

Sezer played at several clubs and festivals in Ibiza, Germany, Mexico, Amsterdam, Finland, Switzerland, Turkey, Russia, Tunisia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan, Peru and everywhere he plays his sound blend is supported by enthousiastic crowds. At beginning of 2008 he founded his record label called “Dark Pleasure Records”. In 2010 his successful track “Singing In The Bathtub”, which reached the 1st position of Beatport’s Deep House Chart for 3 months and main Beatport’s Top 100 chart for weeks. Also his remix for Steve Duda stayed at Beatport's Top Prog 10 for some weeks. His tracks supported at Armin Van Buuren's “ASOT 550 Miami” and “ASOT 600 Sao Paulo”, Paul Oakenfold's “Planet Perfecto”, Matt Darey's “Nocturnal Sunshine”, Pete Tong's “BBC One”, Solarstone's “Solaris International”, Jochen Miller's “Stay Connected”, Moonbeam's “Moon Magic”, EDX's “No Xcuses”, Mark Knight's “Toolroom Knights”, tyDi's “Global Soundsystem”, Max Graham's “Cycles Radio”, Albin Myer's “Cr2 Records” and many other radio shows around the world.He had worked with labels like ; Armada Music, Ministry Of Sound, Blackhole Recordings, Songbird, Buddha Bar, Loco Records, Manual Music, Xfer Records, Unreleased Digital, ReadyMix, Save Room, Flow Vinyl and among others.

His ability in the studio has garnered attention from some of the most renowned titans like; Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Andy Moor, Pete Tong, Hernan Catteneo, John Digweed, Mark Knight, Ferry Corsten, Nick Warren, Markus Schulz, Moonbeam, Jerome Isma-Ae, EDX, 16 Bit Lolitas, Eelke Kleijn and many others.

Nowadays, he just released his debut album on Manual Music (NL). He has weekly radio show Radio FG 93.7 every tuesday on 9PM and he is on Global DJ Tour with W Hotels and Burn.

JOONAS HAHMO

If you don’t know much about Finland, one thing you should know about is Joonas Hahmo. Joonas has become one of Finland’s hottest electronic music exporters! He has worked on numerous different projects during his career and one of the most successful of them is a trance collaboration called Alt+F4, which he wrote together with his friend. With this track Joonas signed his first ever record deal with the Brittish record label Anjunabeats. Not bad scouting from the label, as the track went on to become the biggest selling record on the label that year. Even today, after being included on countless compilations and played by every possible trance DJ on the planet, many people still describe it as one of the greatest Trance tracks of all time. Instant classic.

In autumn 2008 Joonas released yet another impressive track named "Cocktail Bar" and Anjunabeats’s sister label Anjunadeep signed it up straight away. Once again Joonas had the full support from the biggest names in the industry, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk and Above & Beyond. The track merited a listing on the highly acclaimed Ministry of Sound - Clubber's Guide 2009 and Anjunabeats Volume 6 compilations.

Just one look at Joonas’s impressive list of past gigs confirms his rising popularity. From ‘ram-packed’ dancefloors in Russia to chic clubs in France, Joonas has also left his mark in Germany, Slovakia, Ukraine, Czech-Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and many more. Joonas's ability to merge various genres has made him a versatile trademark DJ name.

After releasing a few successful EP's on Anjunadeep label, Joonas slowly created a solid network among labels, producers, press and fans. Things led to another and finally in the spring of 2010 Joonas decided to take a giant leap forward and start his own record label Hahmo Recordings.

It was only few months since the label’s baby steps when Joonas released his next big anthem "Mojito", only this time through his very own record label. To his own surprise it went directly on to Beatport Top 20 sales chart and enjoyed heavy DJ support from the likes Calvin Harris, Above & Beyond and Armin van Buuren. Calvin Harris even went on posting the track to his Twitter and described it as his favourite track at the moment. The track also found it’s way on to several big compilations around the world. At this stage Joonas knew that setting up an own label was probably one of the most important decisions during his career.

While still running his own label, Joonas signed the next big anthem called "Reactor" to the legendary Deal Records. The track was premiered by dutch superstar DJ Hardwell on his "Hardwell On Air" radio show and he even chose it as the Demo Of The Week. If that wasn't enough for the year 2013, Joonas released another impressive number called "GT 83" on his own label. Once again the chaps from Above & Beyond showed their support by playing it on their new Group Therapy Radio show. The highly respected dance music blog site Dancing Astronaut best described the track in their review: "This supercharged tune is packed with energy and sunny vibes — perfect for driving along the coastline with the windows down"

In the beginning of 2014 Joonas signed one of his biggest works, the monstrous bigroom track 'Boeing' to Armin van Buuren's Armada label. It was heavily supported by names like Hardwell and W&W while also gaining some serious airplay time on Finnish radio stations. After that Joonas decided to explore the trancey sounds again for a chance and 'Gold Rush / The Break-Up' EP was born. The EP was a huge success and once again gained a lot of fans from both House and Trance genres with guys like Above & Beyond, W&W and Tiesto leading the way. Gold Rush even went on to conquer the highly anticipated Beatport Top 10 on the Trance genre.

JON ELECTRA

Jon Electra is a Electro House producer / DJ from Finland. In 2013 Jon Electra's career experienced such a kickstart after the release of the debut EP "Monster". He got supported all over the world, including his own personal favorites such as Far Too Loud, Dirtyphonics, Judge Jules and REVOLVR, who played his track “Monster” in TommorowWorld ’13.

He has released two more singles after that, and now after a whole year working on new material he is starting to release his new tracks during the spring ‘15. At this point the most popular “release” from Jon Electra is his bootleg remix of Ariana Grande’s “Break Free”. It has got almost 400,000 streams on Youtub. It is officially the most popular remix of “Break Free” for now. It also got played in annual Billboard’s “ Women In Music” –awards, while Ariana Grande walked onto the stage to claim her prize.
