The Marvin & Guy project was born under the shadow of a palm tree while a flamingo listened to tropical music, way back in 2011. The duo’s first release was an EP with the Japanese label Let’s Get Lost, the naughty child in the expansive Mule Musiq label family. Since then they have released on John Talabot's Hivern Discs, On The Prowl and Permanent Vacation. In their spare time the boys have been honing their talents as remixers, with many labels singling them out for their signature swaggering sound. Meanwhile in the DJ booth the Marvin and Guy have been taking their talents global, their ability to spin through from disco to techno setting tongues to talking and hips to shaking. When you ask what kind of music they play the answer will always be “Groovy Techno”.

The Italian duo is returning to Good Room for a Let's Play House party in December where they'll be joined by label head Jacques Renault. Jacques is somewhat of a party legend in NYC, with his roving house, disco, and techno parties. As well us running a label, he's had remixes, edits, original tracks, and his collaborative project Runaway, released on labels like DFA, RVNG INTL, I'm A Cliche, Permanent Vacation, Rekids and Future Classic.

LOVERS is celebrating the release of his new EP on Let's Play House in the Bad Room. The Grand St Blues EP, follows and was inspired by LOVERS' move from London to New York and was mostly produced using an MPC and vinyl rips from records he discovered in the first year following the move. The EP and the music also tells a story of a relationship blooming, ending, recovering, and starting again. He will be joined by Bryce David on warm up.
