For Good Room's second boat party of the summer we're taking two of Brooklyn techno's leading ladies to the river. Mutual Dreaming's Aurora Halal and Discwoman's UMFANG are going head to head at our Techno Overboard party.

We'll be cruising from the 23rd St Pier at FDR Drive. Boarding starts 6pm for 7pm voyage. We'll be partying on The Cabana boat from Marco Polo Cruises.

Tickets are $20 first release / $25 second release / $30 third release

AURORA HALAL
Aurora Halal is a producer, video artist, and creator of Brooklyn’s Mutual Dreaming party series & the Sustain-Release festival. Shadowy & psychedelic, her hardware live & DJ sets have a hazy sensuality and metallic dance floor intensity, always pushing her compositions further into deep hypnotic states. She’s spent the last years touring some of the most forward-thinking underground clubs and festivals including Unsound, Atonal, Stattbad, and more.

UMFANG
Discwoman co-founder Umfang was born in the Bronx, grew up in Kansas and has been living in Brooklyn since 2010. She holds the monthly residency Technofeminism at Bossa Nova Civic Club focusing on emerging local talent and an affection for vinyl. Recently she has played break out parties Sustain Release, Fine Time LA, and a 7-hour open to close set at Hot Mass in Pittsburgh. Her amorphous polyrhythmic techno productions have been released by 1080p, videogamemusic, and Phinery.
