As 2018 looms, in a year in which the world has felt particularly downtrodden in the face of political chaos, we think it is not only fitting but necessary to end the year with a MoveOnUp. In these dark times, we look to music and dancing to rekindle the soul that has been quenched along the way.

Each week for the past 21 years of MoveOnUp, we have found something to celebrate in the HiFi basement. As 2017 comes to a close, we’ll be toasting the new year in the only way we know how: with a stiff cocktail Northern Soul, Sixties Beat, Tamla Motown and early Disco. Let’s start the year on the up.

We are happy to announce that Jumbo Records's Matt Bradshaw will be at the controls for the whole evening.
