Somehow, we have all arrived at this milestone mostly intact – the 5 year mark of weekly club operations. We gone through countless iterations, removing walls, moving speakers, adding toilets, repairing LED walls, building booths, fixing toilets, and crowdfunding soundsystems. We pinch ourselves ever day, grateful that we still have this space to join forces each weekend and let go. Thank you for this.
To celebrate, we felt it better to look inwards, to the unsung hero of the club, Naeem. He has clocked more club hours than most of us combined. He swoops in during the crises to save the day, and he is the one picking up trash when it's not even his night. It happens to be that he's one of the best DJs and budding producers on the planet - guiding the DETOUR label and club night. So, we turn this one over to him. Join us as we celebrate together and look towards another five years.
