Do you know about the Jeremy Wilson Foundation and the amazing work it has been doing to support local musician's in need? Do you know how the foundation came about? The story is a thing of true beauty that arose from a very dark moment in a wonderful man's life.
Beloved local musician becomes ill and the musical community rises up in support during his time of need in amazing and touching ways with benefits to help pay the bills. Said beloved local musician turns around and starts a foundation to assist other musicians going through similar emergency medical and financial needs.
Do unto others INDEED!
In a few short years, Jeremy and his Foundation have made a huge impact on many musician's lives but the work is far from over.

We here at The LaurelThirst are proud to announce our new effort to help The Jeremy Wilson Foundation (JWF) take care of some of their administrative and operating costs incurred in it's work of helping musicians.
Once a month through the end of the year, The LaurelThirst will sponsor a free show and match patrons' donations to the Jeremy Wilson Foundation up to a total $150.00. JWF will have a table and a speaker at each show as well so you can find out more about the amazing work that they do.
The first show will be Friday May 22nd, 2015 from 6PM - 8PM featuring The Old Flames. (Future shows and acts to be announced).
