LA DISPUTE
www.ladisputemusic.com
La Dispute is five close friends from the Upper Midwest with a firm passion for the concept of music and art as a medium for making new friends. As a result, La Dispute makes (or strives to make) music that is both artistically, technically, and emotionally engaging in hopes of establishing legitimate connections with any and all interested people, while encouraging dialogue between those people and themselves about things in life that truly matter and that truly last. La Dispute also carries a firm passion for the relevance of a live show, both for the bands involved and for the people in attendance, and will go to the grave believing that the environment created when strangers come together despite their differences to celebrate one important thing is invaluable and should not under any circumstances be taken for granted.
O'BROTHER

Comfort zones are overrated—just ask the five members of the Atlanta-based rock outfit O’Brother. When they decamped from their home turf in early 2013 to take over a rented house on wintry Long Island, the idea wasn’t just to update the hard-edged sound they’d achieved on their debut full-length Garden Window with producer Mike Sapone (known for his work with Brand New, Crime in Stereo, Public Enemy and more). This time out, the band reconvened with Sapone to embark on a mind-expanding journey into strange new territory, lyrically and sonically. All it took was a little inspiration.
EUGENE QUELL

UK based Eugene Quell is an indie/fuzz/noise singer-songwriter. He has been writing, recording and performing since the early 90s in bands such as Soft Coin, Sparko, House by House and Dos Qet.
Self-releasing home-recordings on small runs of cassettes over the last two decades has gained Eugene a small but widespread following. Having spent most of his adult life moving from city to city all over the world, Eugene has, for now, found a home in Brighton, UK, and plans to release several records through Sonic Anhedonic Recording Company.
Eugene's guitar-driven, fuzzy sing-a-longs are for fans of En Bloc, The Saboteurs, Copstat, Rider Kid, Cache and Rapt Bux.
A self-titled EP will be available for download on new years day through Sonic Anhedonic (UK) and Exploding in Sound (US).
