Hey everyone! I want to welcome you to The BirthRaiser!

It's time to say goodbye to my golden birthday and say hello to 28 and fabulous!

The BirthRaiser is sponsored by Dive Bar, Minibar, and the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. This will be a fun Birthday celebration and a fundraiser that supports T2 TEAM TO END AIDS.

On November 1st, I am running the NYC Marathon supporting TEAM TO END AIDS (T2 CHICAGO). It's my FIRST Marathon, and your support would mean the world to me and to the AIDS Foundation of Chicago!

The mission of TEAM TO END AIDS (T2) is to improve the lives of those who are affected by HIV/AIDS. T2 does this by raising funds to support the programs of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC). Through endurance sports, T2 raises awareness, encourages action, and motivates people to get involved in creating an AIDS-free generation.


OK - Here are the details of the BirthRaiser:

The party is from 10pm-Midnight on Dive Bar's Patio - food and open bar provided.

At Midnight the party shifts to Minibar for bottle service (3 bottles of Stoli comped by Minibar) towards the AFC cause. The party at Minibar will go on until we run out of bottles. If we would like additional bottles, we will have to purchase additional bottles.

To attend the BirthRaiser, there is a requested $40 minimum donation. I am asking for no birthday gifts except for your support towards the AIDS Foundation of Chicago.

You can donate as much as you desire, and your donation is tax deductible. To attend, all you have to do is visit my personal T2 fundraising page:

Your name will be placed on a list, and you will receive a wristband at the side patio door at Dive Bar. If you donate on the day of the BirthRaiser, please bring a copy of your receipt for verification at the door.

- Your $77 donation can provide 6 free HIV tests to those people who want to know their status

- Your $106 donation can provide 50 meals through AFC's supportive housing program

- Your $262 donation can provide 8 hours of assistance with health insurance matters for those

- Your $538 donation can provide 30 hours of in-home care for someone living with AIDS.
