In conjunction with the Charity Golf Tournament, the Anderson Island Quilts of Valor will be hosting a sew in from noon to 4pm in the Martha Smith Room.
This is the second year the Anderson Island QOV have come together to make blocks to send to the National QOV foundation to be used to make hundreds of quilts for Soldiers. The group sent 156 blocks last year and expect to send more this year.
All are welcome. Just bring your sewing machine, and basic supplies. Kits will be provided as well as instructions for the 2014 QOV block we will be making.
