Party: Routesetting workshop // Rajakeeramise töötuba by Madis Tänav

The workshop continues the journey into the fine art of creating awesome climbing routes. The workshop is equally beneficial both for first time route setters as well as to those who already have prior experience.
Climbing excessively for number of years, setting routes for years and by studying route setting from literature has made Madis Tänav one of the best route setters in Estonia.
During the workshop Madis will deepen our knowledge of how to make a route not only climbable & enjoyable but also equally difficult for persons with different body dimensions. After the theory we will practice setting routes and receive constructive feedback from sensei Tänav.
Depending on the number of participants, each participant is assigned 1-3 routes within a certain grade and before starting to create a route, the route setting apprentice describes his/her route idea to instructor who gives tips & ideas, points out possible flaws and approves the route idea.
Once the routes are set, the group will go through the newly set routes and jointly analyse what is good/interesting and what could improve the route.
The newly built routes will serve as the 7.2. BoulderROCK competition routes and the workshop participats are allowed to compete in the BoulderROCK event.
