Comedy is back with the second special Open Mic! For the last two years Stone’s Throw Comedy has been showcasing the top local and professional comedians. Canadian comedy favourites like Mike MacDonald, Darcy Michael, Kyle Bottom, Mike Delamont, Ivan Decker and Wes Borg have performed at Stone’s Throw. Now new and established comics are given the chance to perform on our stage. Comics get 3 minutes to perform their set. Set of the Night wins a spot on Comedy at Velvet (May 15.)
Sam Lee
Born and raised in Victoria, Sam Lee now lives in Vancouver, where he does anything (yes, anything) to get on stage as often as possible. He’s the regular host of a monthly talk show and produces a show that’s so hot he can’t even get on. From the office to the grocery store, Sam’s brand of laid back and acerbic comedy will leave you feeling happy you’re not him.
