For the last of our shows before we take a short hiatus during exam season, TTC is proud to announce an artist we’ve been dying to bring back to Sheffield since he supported Disclosure at our sold out Octagon show back in 2013. Since then this man has gone on to produce and remix countless classic tunes which has led him to perform to crowds at clubs and festivals across the globe. We are of course talking about CYRIL HAHN.

The Bern, Switzerland native experimented early on with music production during high school and abandoned it after leaving his hometown to pursue post-secondary in Vancouver, Canada. After a 3 year hiatus from music, feeling a need to return to his former love, he sat down and did what is considered by some to be taboo: stripped down two iconic R&B songs and gave them his unique atmospheric twist: Mariah Carey’s ‘Touch My Body’ and Destiny’s Child ‘Say My Name’.

Cyril’s’ re-works have hit a significant nerve with fans & other artists. In the summer of 2012, Say My Name hit #1 on HYPEM in under 2 weeks, and to date has over 6 million plays on Soundcloud, countless tribute videos with over 10 million YouTube views. Other crowd favourites include his take on Solange’s ‘Losing You’, and a vibey, upbeat refix of label mate Jessie Ware’s ‘Sweet Talk’.

2014 saw Cyril release his debut single ‘Perfect Form’ on his home label PMR Records (Home to Disclosure, Jai Paul, Julio Bashmore, etc), which instantly became a summer anthem. Most recently his ‘Voices’ EP received massive support from the likes of Annie Mac, with the stand out single ‘Breaking’ (A Collaboration with Javeon) becoming an instant classic.

Supporting Cyril comes another DJ hailing from Switzerland - Lunar resident, Leroy! For the past year Leroy has been setting the city alight with his eclectic mix of house, techno and disco. His skills behind the decks have seen him play venues around the city and across the UK. As resident DJ and main promoter for Lunar, Leo has been bringing the likes of Tom Trago and Voyeur to the steel city over the last 12 months.
