Please be advised that the Toowoomba Volleyball Association Annual General Meeting will be held at 7.00pm on Thursday the 5th of May at Harristown State High School Gymnasium. The meeting will take place in the board room upstairs from the gym, signage will be placed. Please see the attached nomination form for those looking to join the committee. Written nominations must be be received by the TVA secretary ( [email protected]) by the 21st of April 2016.

Additionally, I'd like to take a moment of your time to encourage you to attend the AGM and consider nominating for the committee.

TVA is run by a dedicated group of volunteers, who work throughout the year to organise and run competitions and representative programs to continue to grow volleyball in the Toowoomba Region. We traditionally have sufficient interest for committee roles, so just by attending the AGM you will not be handed a job. If you are interested in joining the committee, all TVA members are eligible to nominate.

We'd love to see all groups of our membership represented at the AGM, including schools, parents, social and representative players.

Your attendance would be greatly appreciated by the committee to ensure we have sufficient attendees to meet our quorum as per the corporations act and TVA constitution. It is expected that the meeting will take less than an hour.
