Lee Coombs is one of our OGs; Breakfest regular, Finger Lickin’ icon, Ambar alumni; this British-born, US-living producer has been at the forefront of breakbeat since…the beginning. His 2001 album ‘The Future Sound of Retro’ is one we all own, as is ‘Perfecto Breaks’(with Paul Oakenfold) and ‘Breakfast of Champions’.

This? This is breakbeat. Chunk tech-funk. House. Techno. Electro Funk. Bass. Lee Coombs doesn’t do boundaries – he just destroys dancefloors. His most recent album ‘Kaleidoscope’ is funky as f*ck; organic, analogue, old school, big beat.
