Gareth Jay is a versatile Sydney based musician renowned for his composition and live performance, creating complex sound scores for recordings, performance, film and theatre works.
Currently he is performing regularly at cafes, pubs, clubs, restaurants and festivals. He collaborates with artists in blues, jazz, pop, and classical genres and has an intimate passion for blues and acoustic music. Gareth derives influences from Albert King, Elliott Smith, Donovan, Carol King, The Beatles, and Dr John. Come listen to Gareth perform a wide variety of rock, blues, and contemporary hits through the ages with his guitar, stomp box, harmonica and smokey vocals and singalong with one of Sydney’s favourite performers.
