Geisha presents Dicky Trisco
DJ, producer, remixer, record label head honcho and 3 times Olympic Gin & Tonic champion, Dicky Trisco is addicted to the way music connects people and makes for better days. A night owl since the day he was born, he has devoted his life to mastering the art of the discotheque.
DT has been at the heart of the disco resurgence through his output with the big-hitting Disco Deviance label and through his pioneering production work as part of Boogie Corporation (2020 Vision). Most recently he has been focusing on making tracks on various imprints alongside his disco brother Pete Herbert, and on high profile remixes for the likes of Danielle Baldelli, Tensnake, Belle & Sebastian and Faze Action.
As a disc jockey, DT packs a little bit of everything into his sets and is committed to the idea that music and club nights should be all about pure joy. Some people call it having a good time.
These days Dicky tours the world constantly looking for the next party, often in tow with his DJ partner and fellow disco deviant, Pete Herbert. Pedro & Dicky have produced many tracks, remixes and reworks together, as well as knocking out countless highly popular DJ mixes. They play regularly together back to back and all night long, and have turned up for numerous late night hotel breakfasts still in peak condition.
DT holds down a busy touring schedule around the globe while still managing to release music regularly on a host of underground imprints. He is currently working on a number of projects including original disco material for release on File Under Disco and a House project for Home Taping both for release in 2018.
Whether it be beach parties, after parties, underground disco dens, supper clubs, super clubs, hippie markets or festivals, DT is always ready to rock the dance floor and has done so all around the world with regular tours to South America, Central America, USA, South-East Asia, Japan, China, Australia and of course Europe, plus annual appearances at events like Electric Elephant, Love International, Festival No 6, Glastonbury, Mareh (Brasil) and at We Love in Ibiza.
