From Legrand to Streisand, from Sondheim to Jerry Herman and Francoise Hardy to Noel Coward, this will be a rare and wonderful celebration of song you will not want to miss.

GHISLAIN AUCOIN is an Acadian bilingual jazz pianist-singer-songwriter living in Toronto. The shows he presents alongside Nancy White, Judith Lander and Alex Samaras bring together an array of cleverly assembled pieces chosen from the Great Songbooks and Pop Realms. He is known for his work in Triple Gangers, Words Around The Waist, Slapback and recently the Queer Songbook Orchestra; each group serving its own flavor of enchantment. He is the host of the funtastic live piano karaoke nights at the Holy Oak.

CHARLIE DAVIDSON
From Bach to Sondheim, Handel to Lloyd Webber, Charles Davidson brings a dynamic stage presence and exciting tenor voice to the stage. He also is also at home singing the Noel Coward Songbook, standards and songs from ” Grand Hotel”, “La Cage aux Folles” or “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” in which he played the lead.
Trained at the Guildford School of Acting in the UK, Charles received an Honours Degree in Musical Theatre. He has since travelled Asia singing, performed with Grammy and Juno-nominated ensembles in North America, and taken the stage as a soloist/actor in musical productions across Toronto.

ALEX SAMARAS is quickly becoming one of Canada’s leading vocalists in the jazz and new music scene. Alex studied vocal performance in the jazz program at the University of Toronto and at the Banff Center’s Creative Music Program. He also spent time working in New York City with contemporary arts icon Meredith Monk and her vocal ensemble performing in concert versions of Monks work and in multi-disciplinary performances. Alex has blended his love for Jazz and Music Theatre in works that have garnered rave reviews and with stand the passing of time like “The Sondheim Jazz Project.
