JORIS VOORN
Joris Voorn is a Producer and DJ from Rotterdam, Netherlands.
He was raised in very creative environment, and music naturally became a part of Voornʼs life from an early age. The mid-90's first saw him catch the attention of electronic music, and then he started DJʼing in 1997. After developing a more focused interest in House and Techno, Joris invested in the versatile MC-303 groovebox and began to experiment with synths / drumloops.

2000 saw Joris begin building a small studio to produce his own music, which led to his first release.
His first EP was massive success, filling the record boxes of Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, DJ Rush and Technasia.
He has since gone on to producing two albums, one in 2004 and one in 2007 on his own label Green.

Nic Fanciulli and Joris Voorn, more recently have long been playing in the premiere league of Ibiza, mostly solo but sometimes also back-to-back, delivering irresistibly danceable sets at such club nights as We Love... Carl Cox, Cocoon, ElRow, ANTS, Cadenza - Vagabundos and Music On.
It was inevitable that they would launch their own party on the island, and this time has come. La Familia at Ushuaïa, a joint venture by Fanciulli and Voorn.
The two met in Australia, 2008 and it is far to say they have gone on to forge one of the most successful partnerships in the industry.

It is our pleasure to welcome Joris to Mint Club for an Extended Set, alongside Local Lad - Josh Butler who has a big future ahead of him on the electronic music circuit.
