es ist fast wie im hochgebirge ohne hütte: dünne luft, überwältigende panoramen, nebel in den tälern, schneidender wind, unendliche freiheit und trotz der extreme ein gefühl von wohligkeit, als brenne da irgendwo eine kerze. angezündet haben diese maryam hammad und aurèle louis in form ihres neuen albums „save animals, eat people“. schon der titel lässt unerforschtes terrain erahnen und sichdiese zehn apokalyptisch brillanten songs am stück anzuhören gleicht einer expedition ohne sicheres happy end, aber in der gewissheit, unerhörtes entdecken zu dürfen.
