Party: Colin Clyne & The Carrons at Montrose Folk Club

A native of Stonehaven, Colin Clyne recently ended a ten year stay in Southern California to return to his native North East of Scotland.

In 2012 at the San Diego Music Awards in California, USA, Colin Clyne was crowned as "the Best Acoustic Act", an award he also won in 2011. More recently, Colin Clyne was named by NBC San Diego as one of the top twelve singer/songwriters in San Diego, amongst an elite list, which also featured Tom Waits and the late Jim Croce.

In 2014 Colin released his second album, The Never Ending Pageant, produced by Grammy Award Winner, Alan Sanderson, to reach number six in the iTunes UK Country Download Chart.

Colin Clyne will be appearing at Montrose Folk Club with his band, The Carrons, who are Montrose's Gary Anderson on mandolin, acoustic guitar and backing vocals, Tom Ward on Guitar, Nick Townsend on Bass Guitar, Attila Kiss on percussion and Clare Hesketh on backing vocals.
