January 2-6, 2014 - $225
This is a beginners course for young people aged 6-16. If you are into having some fun on the water and want to learn to sail then this is the program for you. Run across four days - allowing an extra day in case of the need to cancel due to poor weather conditions, the program is structured around developing leadership and teamwork skills whilst having fun both on and off the beach.
You’ll be introduced to all the basic sailing concepts - boat layout, safety, winds, tides, knots and teamwork. Beach activities include model boat construction and racing, tug of wars, fitness trails, treasure hunts and beach volley ball. Limited to 36 places, enrolments are on a first come first serve basis. Places cannot be guaranteed or secured until full payment is received.
