The Mercantile on Dame Street is putting on a once off free entrance show to celebrate the biggest day in our islands history with music legends Jerry Fish- The Hot Sprockets- Mute Fish & the Jive Cats. Sunday the 24th of April will see the Mercantile venue host some of the greatest acts in the country.

Jerry Fish celebrates Record Store Day (April 16th) with the release of a brand new single "Happy Dog" one of his catchiest + grooviest releases yet! This double “A” sided single also includes “My Friend Jim” a monster mash up feat. Booka Brass Band and R.S.A.G.

MUTEFISH-
MUTEFISH are culturally diverse six piece band from Ireland, Poland, Lithuania, Portugal and Ukraine. They fuse the musical sounds and cultures of Eastern Europe with traditional Irish influences resulting in an engaging melodic compilation of tracks. Each band member brings their distinct musical backgrounds and tastes giving them their unique sound which makes it difficult to label their style or genre.

The Jive Cats-
One of the best RocknRoll bands going on the circuit. They bring back the swing in their set with the sounds of the 1950's. Be ready to jive, swirl and twist as these guys take you deep into the decades. They are the resident house band every Sunday night.

The Mercantile is a cutting edge venue and late bar in the heart of the city center. Djs Stuart Clarke ( Hotpress) Sinéad Ní Mhórdha ( Nova FM) Alan Starr- Steve Ready- all frequently spin the tunes to change our lives in the late bar.
